Extra Ordinary Design
Created by architect Bill Bensley who lives by the philosophy ‘the more odd, the better’ each corner of the peninsular is vibrant, atmospheric and other-worldly. Spread across four levels and connected by a cable car, spend your days hopping from Heaven, Sky, Earth to Sea.
A daily buffet breakfast is almost obligatory Citron restaurant. Get there early and snag one of the incredible booths overlooking the ocean whilst sipping on your Vietnamese ice coffee.
An absolute highlight for us. M Rouge is certainly the most fabulous Karaoke venue you'll ever see. Drawing inspiration from the colorful and theatrical world of Toulouse-Lautrec, each of the six private rooms are inspired by the dressing-rooms of iconic personalities such as Marilyn Monroe & Andy Warhol.
La Maison 1888
The shining star of the in-house restaurants. Hosting Vietnam's only Michelin Star restaurant La Mison 1888 is literary a storybook of rooms telling fictional tales of exotic characters. Its a dining experience like nothing.
Whilst there is so much to do outside of your room, ensure you spend some time in private as the rooms are true luxury. Champagne and petal baths whilst overlooking the world-class views is a must, watch out for moneys... this is Monkey Mountain after all! The beds are 5 star and extremely spacious and indulgent.
The resort is situated over a peninsular and there is plenty to do without venturing further afield. Start your day with a sunrise Yoga Class at the Peninsular Viewing Deck. Soak up the sun with water sports and lounging at the private beach. A Foot Massages at Cure Studio by Bastien Gonzalez is an absolute must, followed by an afternoon Tai Chi classes in the gardens. Finish the night at the boutique private cinema.
Romantic seaside lunches should be enjoyed at a seafood extraordinaire. You will need to go barefoot as this a true beach dining spot.
Da Nang City
A trip to Da Nang wouldn't be complete without venture beyond the gates of the resort. Whilst you may be warned against it, hiring a scooter is serious fun especially along the peninsular's wide roads. You'll need to head into Da Nang city to do this (there is a free shuttle), we recommend ______ for bike hire, remember to take your passport with you. Da Nang seems to have Seafood on tap and we highly recommend a trip to a local local Han San. You'll get all you can eat fresh seafood for under $30 usd.
Traditional town Hoi Ann is just one hours drive away, its absolutely gorgeous and well worth the trip for a dose of culture, cheap cocktails and market shopping. Hoi Ann specialises in tailoring.
