A Parisian Experience Like No Other

Some experiences only occur once in a lifetime. Dining at Michelin starred Lasserre is counted among one of those experiences for us. Of course, we know that dining options in a city like Paris are endless, but if you are looking for an unforgettable restaurant to host your intimate rehearsal dinner or reception of up to 100 guests, Lasserre shines among the rest. This legendary restaurant recently welcomed a new chef, Nicolas Le Tirrand, who has introduced a menu of classical, sharp and delicate cuisine to the famous establishment. The decor is thoroughly Parisian, with mirrored ceilings that open up in the summer, sumptuous wallpapering, and a delightful sense of the theatrical (think tuxedo-clad waiters bringing you a Grand Marnier crepe on a silver platter). If you are looking for a truly impressive setting in which to unwind and celebrate with cultured guests, this dining venue should be at the top of your list. It’s almost better than a night at the opera.

SOrting The Details

Reception Spaces: Whether you are looking to book Lasserre for an intimate rehearsal dinner or reception of up to 100 guests, there are several private event rooms that lend themselves to just about any style of celebration. Little has to be done to improve upon the decor – the restaurant, inspired by a winter garden, boasts sumptuous Parisian furnishings, a mechanical mirrored roof that opens up to the blue sky, and walls of antique mirrors that reflect back the lavishness of any soiree.

In-House Services Offered: We encourage anyone considering an event at Lasserre to take advantage of the restaurant’s furnishings, which are carefully curated to lend an air of theatricality to any dinner or reception. Clean white tablecloths provide the perfect backdrop for contemporary china with ethereal golden patterns, vintage emblazoned silverware, and centrepieces by young designers from a local art school. Surrounding each table, guests can enjoy their meal in medallion armchairs, upholstered with burgundy velvet and matching the cosy banquettes, usually dedicated to love birds. In the evenings, diners are treated to a live performance on the piano by the house musician that seemingly takes place under the stars.

Catering: French gastronomy is unparalleled, and few execute it more exquisitely than Chef  Nicolas Le Tirrand. Since dining will be the highlight of your experience at Lasserre, we recommend coordinating with the chef to arrange a menu that will surprise and delight your loved ones. As a main suggestion: request the set menu “cooked for you” in seven services (an amuse-bouche, two starters, two main-courses and 2 desserts) that the chef renews nearly every month. Or, if you prefer something more traditional, an A La Carte menu is available that gathers the most classical dishes of the 80 year-old restaurant. The sample menus provided by Lasserre read like poetry, with each dish awakening the taste buds and arousing enthusiasm. Interested in incorporating Chef Le Tirrand’s cuisine at another wedding venue? Lasserre also offers offsite catering options that will bring a hint of Parisian glam to any wedding or event.
